Cynthia has spent the last twenty years working in the area of education and child psychology. She has taught children form 3 - 12 years old and with diverse learning needs. She holds an AMS Early Childhood and CEM Elementary I-II Certification. The last 11 years she spent leading the only Montessori school in Southwest Missouri, Discovery Garden Montessori. She has also worked with children in crisis and in therapeutic settings. She has presented in several regional Montessori conferences in elementary education and administrative topics.
She volunteered as a Board Member at the Montessori Administrators Association (MAA), which supported administrators to better serve their school communities. She joined AMS on July 2022 as the School Quality Manager and she serves all schools in the Pathway for Continuous Improvement.
